What This Is
An interactive map of community resources across Eastern New York — food pantries, shelters, emergency services, veterans services, mental health, clothing, soup kitchens, and transportation.
How to Use
- Find Address — type any address and click Go to see it on the map relative to nearby resources
- Search — type an agency name, contact, or address to filter the list
- County — filter and zoom to a specific county
- Assistance Type — click chips to filter by category
- Services — check boxes to find specific services
- Click a dot or a list item to view details
- Share — copies a link to your current filtered view so you can send it to a client or colleague
- Print — prints the current map with labeled pins and a table of resources in view
- Export — downloads the filtered resources as a CSV file
- Reset — clears all filters and returns to the full view
Map Notes
- The results list syncs with the map — pan or zoom and the list updates to show only resources currently visible on screen.
- Agency labels appear on pins when you zoom in close enough.
- Items marked approx. location are placed at the county center — exact address could not be geocoded.
- Items marked no map location are online/virtual services with no physical address.
